Professional performing harpist Bart Seaton of Harp Tidings brings to your wedding an exceptionally beautiful concert grand harp (Salvi Iris) adding elegance to your occasion.
Bart’s instrument’s soundboard is received from Italian Fiemme Valley spruce, as used by Stradivarius for his violins.
Bart has been providing wedding music since his arrival in Australia from the UK in 2009 on both organ and harp.
Bart studied harp at the Queensland Conservatorium for five years with Sebastien Lipman (former Principal solo harpist with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra) and continued his studies with Sayo Lipman (of the Lipman Harp Duo).
He received the R.S. Alva Memorial Award as the student with the best overall results in the third year of the Bachelor of Music (instrumental and composition) at Queensland Conservatorium, from where he graduated with First Class Honours in 2015.
Bart is a professional teacher of both harp and piano and is available for lessons as well as performing for all occasions.
In addition to weddings, recitals and concert performances, Bart performs at many milestone occasions, including for persons receiving palliative care, for ceremonies for reflection and remembrance and for funeral services throughout the year.
In November, 2017 Bart will be performing as joint soloist in Mozart’s Flute and Harp Concerto in Maleny and Noosa.

”We were blown away by every aspect of dealing with Bart, right from first contact with his friendly, efficient communication to his fantastic selection of repertoire across so many genres, and how happy he was to take requests and make recommendations.
Most importantly and simply, he is a wonderful musician and warm, friendly professional, and helped to make our ceremony unforgettable.
Thank you!”

“I’m so happy to have had Bart play as part of a harp and cello duo at our wedding.
The music was so beautiful it brought me and many others to tears, and was one of the most memorable parts of our day.
He has such a wide range of repertoire, ranging form classical, Celtic, to modern music specially arranged for harp, and was very helpful in helping us putting together the program.
Bart is such a nice person, and a very talented and experienced musician, I’d highly recommend him”.
